Your Top 3 Albums

Post by D_C on Sun Nov 02, 2008 11:56 pm

What are they and why?

Mine:

1. Slipknot - Vol 3: After loving the past 2 albums, this one seems so progressive compared, and blew me away.

2. Metallica - S&M: What can I say? Its a double album, with most of Metallica's best songs, accompanied with a full scale orchestra. Amazing!

3. Machine Head - The Blackening: I was told many times to get this album, and every time I put it off thinking it would be an overrated pile of crap. Oh how wrong I was. Every track is just brilliant, and everything I would want from a modern metal band.

Master Of Puppets - Metallica. First Metallica album I listened to and it just blew my mind. Every track is killer with no fillers.

Use Your Illusion 2 - Guns 'N' Roses. A lot of people rate Appetite as GnR's best album but this came out at a time when pretty much every song applied to me. 14 Years. My parents were gtting divorced after 14 years of marriage. The whole album helped through a tough period of my childhood.

7th Son - Maiden. Just edges out Number Of The Beast as my favourite Maiden album.

Nice one mate, I'm so excited for it.

You need to send me a picture of yourself, so I know who the hell I'm looking out for, hah.
