Games Night - 4th March - 7pm

Post by Wine And Roses on Thu Feb 26, 2009 10:55 am

I'm having a week off next week so I'm able to stay up past 9pm so I thought we'd take a break from the normal tournament routine and have a Games Night like at Christmas.

Can I have suggestions for games you wanna play and I'll make a poll so the people can decide.

Ta Muchly x

Dont know if I could participate as I have GCSE's on the 4th and I'll either be incredibly pissed off or happy.

As for games, CoD 4, GoW 2, Halo 3

Why is it always on a Wednesday? Surely it would make things easier for everyone if it was on a Saturday.

these things are done on a wednesday because people go out on a Saturday and generally people are around during the week. Whats the difficulty in it being on a wednesday?

What are you? A moron?

The majority of people do go out on Saturday, to shop, walk, family time etc.

Most people stay in on Sundays.

Usually I ride to town on the Saturday to pick up any decent games that were out on the Friday, so I'm free in the evening Smile

Of the people on here I get the general impression. Very often on a Saturday night you can sign into XBL to see pretty much all the regulars online.

Not everyone as in the population.

Tbf Im usually out on a Friday/Saturday, tonight xbl was particularly dead kinda proving tournaments and the like wouldnt work. As for why weekdays dont really work for people, I think schoolwork falls into that catagory.

We should do one of these in the easter holidays, that way people wouldn't have a problem about staying up late because they dont have school or work the next day or anything else to do at that time.

They are meant to just be for lol's don't forgot. A casual tournament to get people to play and make friends.

I hold them on Wednesday's because sometimes I go out on Saturdays as do some other people. Wednesday used to be good for me because I had the day off the next day so I could stay up a bit later. I have to get up at 4.30 am. I work Thursday now but I still manage to play, it's not like they finish late and they usually only take up an hour. It's not a big sacrifice really.

Majority of people don't seem to have trouble with the time and day so it's staying. And to be honest, whatever day I pick it's not gonna suit EVERYONE.

True. As I said it'll depend what mood I'm in after the GCSE's on the Wednesday and if I have any homework for the next day.

I'll play.

But if I have college work...

I'll still play. Cus it's not like I can't take 1 evening off...

Wait... I can't remember the last time I did college work in the evening...

Scratch all that.
