Just wondering what everyone thought about taking away the latest post thing from the left side of the forum to make it wider? I personally liked having it there as I used to just come on now and again and see if there were any new posts, rather than having to check every section. The width of the forum wasn't really an issue for me in the first place.

So yeah, what do you guys think?

You can still use the 'View posts since last visit ' button to see only new posts.

On a standard 1280 x 720 screen it looked fine and my old netbook it never caused issues on its 1024 x 600 screen. The only issue I ever had was stretching which was caused by the banner being too big.

A lot of people had issues when posting images as the forum would cut off part of the right hand side of them. Like Shaun said, theres that 'view posts since last visit' button. I wish there was the option to have that ticker at the top or bottom, but unfortunately I can only set it to the left or right.
