From a competitive point of view, whoring is cheating.

I don't see what the big deal is. Unless there is a set list of games that people can play and only play those games there will never be an even playing field.

I thought it was a challenge to see who can get the highest gamerscore by any legitimate means they can. People who get games like Avatar may piss others off but at least they can only do it once, the next challenge someone else will play it and so on and so forth. It'll all even out over time.

Now I'm off to get Hannah Monatana in time for the next challenge

Whoring isn't legit.
They don't do it once, Shaun seems to have found almost all of the easy 1000 GS games, thus annoying people lots.

If playing games to get gamerscore isn't a legitimate way to get them then I don't know what it, and if Shaun has found most of the easy 1000 GS games then by that logic he shouldn't be able to get much more easily so in future you can use the easy GS games if you so wish. It'll even out over time and after many contests.

Like I said the only way to make it a completely fair challenge is to have a set list of games that can be played and not to deviate from that list and that everyone is capable of getting all the achievements so no online ones in case some people haven't got a Gold account. That is the only way it can ever be a true contest as it will be the only way there is a 100% even playing field. If it's done any other way then it's just a case who who gets the most new games win.
