I came across a lvl. 65 who spammed the flamethrower an hour or so ago, he was easy to pick off from long range but most of the idiots on my team decided to run full force into him, he ended up with 23 kills...

I'm playing through the campaign at the moment and trying to get 1000G before going online, but it'll be hard. I was playing on Regular up until the 4th-last mission and decided to play on Veteran from there to make it easier when I start again on that difficulty.

The level I'm on at the moment (the last Russian one I think, just going into the Reichstag building) is one of the hardest I've ever played. It's really hell.

So yeah - I have £40 which came avaliable last night and I want to spend it on a decent game. I'm thinking CoD5. Was it any good? :3

The single player is a bit boring overall, with some decent bits within it. The online comes into its own when you get to around level 20 odd and get used to the maps, much like CoD4.

CoD4 was better, so as long as you go into it without expecting as much, you should like it.

Rumors say it might be £20 in Gamestation on Monday, so you may aswell wait until then.

I am quite tempted by that price...

COD. Fable's good for a few weeks. Gets old pretty quick and story is faaaar to short. Will get much more use out of CoD on multiplayer if more people get it. Campaign's not that bad.

You ever heard of metacritic? Well fuck you, the reviews overall are better, so, again, fuck you. And I said I was gonna get it eventually, just not for £40. £20 is reasonable for it's shitty shortness.

And I doubt I'll play CoD much unless alot (in excess of 6 players) get it.

World At War inspired me to rebuy COD4 for 360 because of how much I enjoy cod games on consoles. £19 on ebay, not bad.

TBF, Fable 2 took me 40+ hours to complete (including all but two side-quest I've yet to finish). So, based on that, it lasted about as long as Mass Effect did if you went for the Completionist achievement. Plus, the DLC coming out in a couple of weeks looks pretty substantial and looks like it'll add several more hours on top (similar size to Oblolvion's Knights Of The Whatever DLC).

Also, COD = shit unless IW are behind it. This is a fact and suggesting otherwise shows how deep in denial you really are. Wouldn't buy World At War even if was going for a fiver.

So I just finished the game. OH NO I LOST THE GAME! Anyway. Can I be bothered to complete it again on Veteran? Cos apprently its fuckign INSANE on veteran. I know when we tried to play Veteran in co-op we were just raped everytime.

Wasn't the best campaign really, I felt like I was just going along with it, didn't really get emotionally involved or anything. Not like COD4 when you had people like Gaz who were awesome.

Unlocked the zombie stuff too. Bit pants lol But thats just me, I don't like zombies. And it kinda brought down the whole message at the end that was like 'we are inspired by your courage and humbled by your sacrifice' HERES A ZOMBIE GAME. ZOMBIE NAZIS. Great.

My mate adores that. He was nagging me to play it with him when he came round I asked why couldn't we just play Left 4 Dead cause that's actually built for zombies and isn't just some spin-off built within a game.

lol tbf Left 4 Dead looks a lot more fun than the COD version. I just found it disrespectful really. To mention the terrible stuff that happened and then to say that you're humbled by their sacrifice and then like 5 seconds later a screen comes up with NAZI ZOMBIES. Annoyed me so much.

I see where you're coming from. War is now just a fun game for children these days. I guessing all the fat american children don't give a damn, it's a sad world we live in.

Re: Call of Duty: World at War

Campaign sucked my nuts tbf.

Every enemy seems to have an incredible tolerance to bullets, taking what...3 shots to take them down, thats to the body, not the leg or something.

They spam you with nades every fucking firefight. Its just plain irritating, its not fun. gtfo with your stupid fucking gameplay ideas.

Your team mates can't shoot for shit and never move up, making sniping pointless.

Its just badly written. -_- The script doesn't make you feel for any of the characters...at all. Not like in CoD4...that ending bit when you hold the bridge and they knob Gaz in the head in front of you...I was like "NO NOT GAZ! NO! OMG!! *emo tears*" Because Gaz was made of awesome, had a personality and you felt for him.

Also, theres no Captain Price...a CoD game with no Captain Price = Medal Of Honour and we all know how much THAT game sucks.

Multiplayers alright, imo the hit reg is a bit fucked some times but its liveable. Some of the maps are pretty poorly designed like that one with the train bridge in the middle. None of them match COD4 tbf.

Its one of those games you'll probally play through the campaign, get some achievements, play a few days of multiplayer then never touch again...leaving it to rot in a pile of its own suckyness.

Meh.

The zombies thing is alright, if a bit disrescpectful as Steph said, got nothing of L4D tho.

DICK.

That's a lie and you know it.

Best Version of CoD to date, especially among original fans, is United Offensive.. Made by Gray Matter, a company which later disbanded.. with some of their members going on to join Treyarch.

FUCK YOU, BOB. INFINITY WARD IS A CUNT.

I found the first few to be fairly easy to be honest, but doing the last 3 or 4 on Vet was extremely difficult for me.

Love this game! Online with 4 or so people you know + Second Chance perk = Amazing matches!

Seriously, 34 kills to 2 deaths was my best last night. I think that perk adds so much more to the game, as it adds the medic type gameplay to it.

When I first got this, I played it a stupid amount, and tbh, loved it, but I bought CoD 4 just after Christmas and haven't touched it since, it is a good game, and I can definetly see myself going back to it, especially when some DLC comes out, just, really really loving CoD 4 at the moment. =3
