Nothing on the price yet though.

Will be buying, as long as the price isn't something silly.

Party Pack was 800 MS so I would imagine this being the same. I'm so getting it anyways.

The upcoming Cops and Robbers DLC will add three new achievements for an additional 90 points, bringing the total to 1140... which is a weird number.

The content will be available April 30th. No price has been set.

The Right Side of the Law 30G
Awarded for being on the winning Cops team in a Cops and Robbers game on Xbox LIVE

The Gang Is Back In Town 30G
Awarded for being on the winning Robbers team in a Cops and Robbers game on Xbox LIVE

Golden 30G
Awarded for delivering the Gold to your team base in a Cops and Robbers game on Xbox LIVE

Awesome.

£12.95 Bargain if you don't mind downloading the updates.

I think Sonic posted that one so kudos to him.

Aweshum!! Thanks. Very Happy
I don't mind downloading updates, just as long as the DLC doesn't cost loads. Which it doesn't, right?

You don't have to have the DLC.

There are Toy Cars and Legendary Cars so far, Which are 400 and 800 MSP for the lot, or you can buy them separately, IIRC.

Burnouts a great game because all the essential updates are free. There's no obligation to buy DLC though arguably what DLC there is should be considered essential anyway.

Most looking forward to the island expansion Very Happy

I'd say the legendary cars are essential and maybe a couple of the toy's but not the boost specials. Part pack is great with a group of mates round but pretty pants if your never in that situation.

Big Surf Island will be awesome though I just hope you won't have to pay for the Duststorm too. I can't wait to jump of that huge ramp on the bridge.

If none of you have this then I recommend it. 8 player cops and robbers is probably the best Burnout game mode. If your willing to blow MSP on map packs for FPS then you should be more than willing to get this.

Not really...
FPS' have longer life spans online, and extra maps in an already massive game > a tacky game mode and 33 cars with COP SKINS OMG WOW. The only fun part of Burnout online is messing around and doing challenges IMO, hence why I'm not gonna buy the DLC.

An opinion is a belief that may or may not be backed up with evidence, but which cannot be proved with that evidence. An opinion is neither right nor wrong. It is normally a subjective statement and may be the result of an emotion or an interpretation of facts; people may draw opposing opinions from the same facts.

lolwhat?

Yep that's right, Mieks not allowed to comment on someone elses opinion and then display his own without someone using the shitty, 'It's an opinion' crap.

Likewise Jim isn't allowed to convey an opinion without someone else coming in and pissing on it because they think its wrong? GG then.

How can you say it's tacky if you haven't played it?

As for longer lifespans I've played about 30 hours of Burnout Online this week and not done a single challenge, most of it has been playing a "tacky game mode" along with marked man, stunt runs and road rages. The cars don't just have cop skins, some of them have had tweaked stats or there natures changed from racing to stunt or other types.

It's no secret that I'm not really a fan of FPS so my opinion that map packs are in general a waste of money shouldn't really come as a surprise to most. As a rule they don't really add anything to a game except for somewhere different to run around in. Most game modes like king of the hill, capture the flag et al are already there at least Criterion are trying new things even if they aren't your cup of tea.

I wish I got burnout instead of this Need For Speed shite.

Pro Street for a fiver though... Neutral It's mildly entertaining.

I was about to say Paradise will be my next purchase, but that's put down as being FUEL. In the near future (:

I heard it's not going to be worth it. The new game modes, cars and challenges will most likely be tacky. It's not really going to add to the life span of the game like a map pack would. Rolling Eyes

There's a big difference between a new gameplay area with actual new cars and challenges compared to a modified Marked Man with different sprayjobs on the cars.

I really don't know how you can say that without actually having played it. Cops and robbers is all about playing as a team and co-operation whereas marked man is just looking after yourself.

All likelyhood is that I won't be downloading it on launch day even though I have over 2000MSP sat in my account.

OH YOU SO WITTY.

Considering when discussing cops and robbers you basically ignored our opinions and called us "FPS junkies" or something of the similar, and then tried to pair Fallout DLC up with Map Packs, I can't help but laugh. I can equally say, how can you say that about map packs when you havn't played them? Rolling Eyes

Maybe you like playing the game modes, but I didn't. I thought it was the weakest part of the game. Challenges and free roaming was much better. I'm slightly looking forward to this, since it's a new area to explore and new challenges. But game modes that A. Don't look fun and B. Are not worth 800MP imo can fuck off.

I'm trying to see anywhere in this thread that I have mentioned Fallout 3 but can't find. Do me the honours and find it for me will ya. Theres a good boy Razz As for Map Packs I have them for GoW, CoD4 and Halo 3 so yeah I have played them so maybe you should get your facts right before mouthing off okay.

For me map packs A. Don't look fun and B. Are not worth 800MP imo can fuck off.

Not in the thread, no, but on MSN when Olly was asking if it was worth it, you said something along the lines of "It's deffinitly worth it. Better than any map packs or Fallout DLC" before going on to tell him to "ignore these FPS junkies". :G

I'm not mouthing off for one, I'm just giving as good as I'm getting. Just the way I see it is if anyone doesn't like the sound of cops and robbers they're an FPS junky and their opinions are void...

I'm only implying that opinions are void if they haven't tried it. If not void then definitely ignorant. As for giving as good as your getting your the person that started "giving it" as it were by calling it a tacky game mode. Ever heard the saying don't knock it if you haven't tried it? I've downloaded maps packs and though they were a waste of money that added very little if nothing to the games that I downloaded them for. You and others are slating this without even trying it.
