BioShock 2 First Gameplay Footage

Hopefully both of those are rumors. The Big Sister plot idea sounds like a big bag of shit and hopefully is one too.

I'd rather have Online Matchmaking than Co-op, mainly cause I'm not a fan of Co-op and would love to see them pull it off.

* The game is set 10 years after the first BioShock.
* There will be a multiplayer mode, but no details were given.
* The Big Sister is a grown-up Little Sister, and she's hunting you.
* Some levels take place on the sea floor outside of Rapture.
* The Big Sister will periodically pop up after you kill enough Big Daddies. Her arrival is apparently signaled by a Little Sister singing a song.
* The Big Sister is described as fast and "the hardest thing in the game." She'll utilize telekinesis to throw objects at you or use them as shields.
* Your drill overheats, and cannot be used constantly.
* As a Big Daddy, you'll be able to do that nifty shoulder bash move.
* Upgrade trees are now more diverse.
* The Incinerate plasmid allows you to throw a fireball or shoot a stream of fire, depending on upgrades.
* Using Incinerate on a Cyclone Trap will result in a flaming trap.
* You can now heal damaged turrets and bots.
* The game will reveal how Adam is recovered from Little Sisters.

Especially like the ideas of clearing stuff up from the first game and expansion on old plasmids, especially idea of fireballs.

And combining effects of Plasmids? Win.

That just got awesomer as I went down the list, be interested on how the Online works and I love the idea behind the Big Sister now. I'm guessing that she's the only Big Sister and makes you think twice about killing a Big Daddy. Combing Plasmids and giving them new abilities sounds awesome too. Hoping for a Sith Lighting Style move for the higher electo bolts. I'm hoping for some really clever ones, and some awesome ones that are off the beaten track. So glad that Co-op was a rumor too. Playing as a Big Daddy shall be win too, guessing much like the Wrench they'll be Plasmids and Tonics to upgrade your Drill, however you're a big slow and heavy as a Big Daddy so getting around is going to be a pain, also I don't know how they can make the plot as gripping as the first when you're playing as a Big Daddy. I'm guessing all that can do is give you stunning background info. Going on the Sea Bed sounds intriguing too.

After looking at my Avatar I'm guessing the doll in the teaser is the Big Daddy you play as?

yes I have but on FarCry 2 you had to do other missions along the way, the first thing that footage showed you was you chasing the Big Sister, I suppose you'll be right though.

Looks better than 1 in combat but the underwater bit looked.... need to see more to make fair comment.

No words can describe how excited I am. I was worried a bit at first but after seeing that I can't wait. I was wondering how'd they keep the atmosphere when you're playing as a metal giant but that opening chase was brilliant. Cannot wait.
